Our Story
In a conversation at a cigar shop in Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Eduardo Bevilacqua (CTO) and Vinicius Giglio (CFO) met while discussing the advantages of a Financial System (FS) on Blockchain. This was the first of the conversation of what would be a KATE MVP, and an FS MVP.

From then on, they developed the MVP on their own, got FFF (Family, Friends and Fans) investor round of great weight in the market, who would bring in not only money but also contacts to speed up growth and began to outline what KATE is today.
Vinicius Portes Giglio is an executive in the finance area with a great background in projects, performance and operations, having worked in numerous segments of the economy. Graduated in Industrial Engineering and MBA from PUC-Rio, he has numerous complementary courses. In parallel, he remained active in the Brazilian Startup ecosystem, having mentored more than 30 startups and having achieved renown in institutions in the middle. Layer from which KATE starts.
